For businesses hiring remotely
There is a simpler way. Vet both sides, then get out of the way.
Browse people who are already vetted, scored, and shown honestly. Pay once to unlock the categories you hire from, then hire direct. You save 40-70% on salary. They earn 1.5-3x local rates. We take 0% of their pay.
The problem
Most businesses end up in one of three traps.
Agencies
You brief them on Monday, a shortlist lands by Friday. Three names, all fine, none quite right. You pay a fee whether the hire works out or not, and next quarter you brief them again.
BPOs
A BPO quotes you £1,500 a seat. The person doing the actual work sees £350 of it. You never meet them before they start, and you cannot take them with you when you go.
Going it alone
You post the role yourself and lose two weeks to sourcing and screening. Then come the contracts you are not sure cover you, and a payment method you are hoping clears. Cheaper on paper, expensive in hours.
How it works
Browse free. Unlock what you need. Hire direct.
- 01
Browse the vetted pool, free
Every profile is already scored against a fixed rubric and shown honestly, with the score on the card. Look at as many people as you like before you spend anything.
- 02
Unlock the categories you hire from
£99 for one category, 30 days of contact details. Or take the year at 25% off. It never renews on its own, and it locks again when you are done.
- 03
Hire direct, we step away
They invoice you and are paid straight to their account via Wise. We are not in the contract and not in the payment. Nobody takes a cut of their pay, not before, not after, not ever.
Questions businesses ask
Straight answers.
- How is this different from an agency or a BPO?
- We do not sit in your hiring or your payments. You pay us once for access to a role category, then hire the person direct and pay them yourself. An agency charges a fee on the placement; a BPO keeps most of what you pay. We take our access fee and 0% of their pay.
- How do you vet candidates?
- Everyone applies into one role category, uploads a CV, and completes an AI-driven assessment scored against a fixed rubric. Only people above the threshold go live. The score sits on the profile, so you can see how they did before you unlock anything.
- How do you vet the businesses?
- We run a light check on every employer account before you can unlock a category: who you are, that the company is real, and that you are here to hire fairly. It keeps the directory safe for the people in it.
- What does Vali cost, and what do you take from the worker?
- £99 for one category for 30 days, or the year at 25% off. All six categories together are £249 for 30 days. From the worker we take 0% of their pay, always. Our access fee is the only fee, and you are the one who pays it.
- How quickly can I hire?
- Browsing is instant and free. Unlocking a category is one checkout, and the contact details are there straight after. From then it moves at the speed of your own interviews, so days, not weeks.
- What if the hire does not work out?
- Your pass covers the whole category for its full term, so you can go back and open another conversation at no extra cost. Because you hire direct as an independent contractor, ending or changing a contract is between you and them, on the terms you agreed.
More on the numbers lives on the pricing and transparency pages.
