Vali

Transparency

We vet both sides. We show our working.

Vali exists for two reasons. Life-changing pay for talented people in emerging markets, where salaries have never matched the talent. And a simple, low-cost way for any business to build a remote team it can trust.

The worker earns 1.5-3x their local market rate. The business saves 40-70% on salary. Vali takes 0% of the pay, ever. Businesses pay for a 30-day pass to reach one role category. It never auto-renews. Talent pays nothing to be here, and keeps every pound it earns.

The standard

What Vali Vetted means

Every profile carrying the Vali Vetted mark has passed all of this. It is the promise behind the badge.

  • A real, verified person

ID checked, identity matched to their photo and their video, one account per human.

  • Work history that checks out

References contacted, CV claims tested for consistency, verified roles marked as verified.

  • Skills tested, not self-declared

A role-specific test for their category, sat and scored. Saying you can do the work is not the same as showing it.

  • Heard, not just read

One continuous live audio assessment, answered in one go, no retakes. Their own words, in their own voice.

  • Scored against the Vali Vetting criteria

The same criteria employers see. Every answer is scored, and only people above the bar are published.

  • Checked by a human before going live

Every profile is read by a named member of the Vali team before it appears. Nothing is auto-published.

  • Set up to work remotely

Connection tested, workspace and backup power confirmed, working hours and time zone stated up front.

  • Honest about money

Their expected rate is published openly. They keep 100% of it. Vali never touches the pay.

  • Protected on their side too

Only checked, paying businesses can reach them. Vali never rates a candidate. Only the businesses they worked for can review a business.

  • Invisible to their current employer, and to search engines

Their name and identifying details never appear in Google or AI answers, and a tested blocking system keeps them hidden from their current employer.

The other side

Employers are vetted too

Vetting one side is only half the job. Before a business can buy a pass or see a single contact detail, it passes a check of its own. We verify the company is real. Then a short scored questionnaire covers the two things that matter most to the people they hire: what they intend to pay, and how they treat remote team members.

Businesses can be declined, and they are. When the pay on offer sits below what the work is worth, or the expectations are not fair, the answer is a polite no. A decline is kinder than a bad hire for someone who trusted us to check.

The live numbers

Whatever we can show, we show

214
candidates vetted
38%
pass rate
61
employers approved
22%
decline rate
47
hires reported

These figures are placeholders for now. They will update straight from the database as candidates and businesses move through vetting, so what you read here is always the real count.

What we keep private

We show what we check. We keep the scoring private.

There is a reason for the line we draw. If we published the exact rubrics, the weights, the pass thresholds and the pay floors, they could be studied and gamed, and the mark would stop meaning anything. So we do not. We tell you what we check and why. We do not tell you how we score it.

"We publish what we check and why. We keep how we score it private, so it cannot be gamed. That protection is part of what you are trusting us for."

That same care is why every profile is read by a person before it goes live, why candidate names never surface in Google or AI answers, and why a blocking system, audited every night, keeps a candidate hidden from their current employer. If something goes wrong on either side, tell us at info@vali.example.
